I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The vintage wallpaper and floral curtains in the lounge area reminded me of my childhood home. It was a lovely place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas throughout. It made navigating the hotel much easier and enjoyable.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. Although they were friendly, it would have been nice if they had offered to help with carrying our luggage or providing recommendations for nearby attractions.

We were surrounded by breathtaking rolling hills and enjoyed the company of wildlife throughout our stay. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed. Plus, it was the perfect base for us to explore the beautiful surroundings.
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities available for children.

The welcome pack was a super nice touch with delicious snacks and drinks waiting for us. The views of the countryside were mind-blowing, and we even got to see cute hares up close! The resident sheep and goats added to the charm. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hut had everything we needed and was surprisingly warm with underfloor heating and a cozy wood burner. The heated throw and hot water bottle were icing on the cake. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The room at Bellwether in York was super cozy and inviting. I instantly felt at home! The bathroom was great, with both a bath and a shower. I loved having options!
The bathtubs in the bathrooms were a bit small for my liking. Just my personal preference though.
